Since the Right2Know campaign and others began campaigning in 2010 to Stop the Secrecy Bill in it's current form, a number of changes have been made to the legislation to make it less draconian.But the Secrecy Bill remain a threat to the free flow of information that feeds South Africa's democracy. The Bill still fails the Right2Know Freedom Test.
