UNESCO's 2001 Community Radio Handbook aims to show ordinary people how to plan, setup, manage a radio station and produce radio programmes with a minimum of dependence on outside help. The handbook highlights case studies of several stations that started by themselves in Kenya, Ghana, Bolivia, Nepal, Philippines and others.
